Dune Shacks

Park in the rear of the Cape Inn at Snail Road and Route 6 in Provincetown.
The manager of the inn asks that you do not use the rest rooms.  Use the map
linked below as your guide to this splendid three mile walk out to the fabled
Provincetown Dune Shacks, where creative souls commune with their muse
in two week increments.  Six of these shacks were preserved by the Cape
Cod National Seashore for their use, and must be applied for seasonally.

The walk is basically a bushwhack across the dunes to the inland track that
connects the shacks.  Follow the general directions of the map, and the
obvious foot trails used by many walkers.  The total distance is a little over
three miles, but the going is slow in soft sand.
