Parking:         Dennis-Yarmouth High School on Station Avenue
                 in South Yarmouth, 1.6 miles south of Exit 8
                 on the Mid-Cape Highway (Route 6).
 
 

Miles            Route

0.7              Ride south on Station Avenue to Main Street.
                 WALK carefully across Route 28 on Main Street.

1.7              Southwest on Main Street to River Street.

2.4              South and west on River Street to South Street.
                 Visit the Judah Baker windmill on the Bass River.

2.9              South on South Street which becomes South Shore
                 Drive.

3.9              West on South Shore Drive to Seaview Avenue,
                 visiting beaches along the way.

4.7              North on Seaview Avenue to Route 28.
                 WALK carefully across Route 28.

5.3              Ride sidewalk of Route 28 to South Sea Avenue.
                 Cross Route 28 to the south.

6.3              South on South Sea Avenue to Sea Gull Beach Road.

7.1              East to end of Sea Gull Beach.

9.9              Reverse to Route 28.  WALK carefully across and
                 proceed to Winslow Grey Road just to the west.

11.8             Ride north and west on Winslow Grey Road to
                 Long Pond Drive.

12.8             Ride north and west on Long Pond Drive to Station
                 Avenue and D-Y High School directly across the road.














Yarmouth Bicycle Trails

Parking:                    Lot just west of the entrance to the golf course, at the intersection
                                 of Old Townhouse Road and West Yarmouth Road in Yarmouth.

Miles                        Route

 1.3                           Ride the bicycle trail west to Higgins-Crowell Road.

 2.6                           Reverse to West Yarmouth Road.

 3.3                           East to the athletic field on the bicycle trail paralleling Old Townhouse
                                 Road.   WALK carefully south across Old Townhouse Road at the
                                 marked pedestrian crossing.

 3.5                           West to Forest Road on the sidewalk.

 6.5                           South on the bicyle trail paralleling Forest Road, to Long Pond Road.

10.4                          Reverse to parking lot.

13.0                          Ride to Higgins-Crowell Road again and return, if you wish.
