Truro to Provincetown

Parking:        l. Province Lands Visitors Center on Race Point
                   Road, north of Route 6 in Provincetown.

                2. Pamet Harbor in Truro, on Depot Road, west
                   of Route 6 in Truro.
 

                NOTE:  Shuttle cars between the two parking areas.
                You will then ride the final leg of the rail trail.
 

Miles           Route

1.4             East on Depot Road from Pamet Harbor to Truro
                Center Road.

1.6             North on Truro Center Road to Castle Road

3.5             North on Castle Road to Route 6
                WALK across Route 6 to the east side.

4.6             North on Route 6 to Shore Road (Route 6A).
                Ride carefully on the bicycle shoulder on the east
                side of Route 6.

12.2            Northwest on Shore Road on to Commercial Street
                in Provincetown, to Conwell Street.

12.7            North on Conwell Street, to Route 6.
                WALK across Route 6 to Race Point Road.

14.2            Northwest on Race Point Road to the Provincelands
                Visitors Center.  Ride bike trail, if you wish.
 
 
 
 
 
 

Head of the Meadow Bicycle Route

Parking:        Parking lot for Head of the Meadow Beach in North
                Truro, at the end of Head of the Meadow Road
                (follow signs from Route 6).

Miles           Route

1.3             Ride back on Head of the Meadow Road (southwest)
                to Route 6.
                WALK carefully across Route 6.

1.4             Ride south on Route 6 to the off ramp leading
                to Highland Road.

1.6             Down the off ramp to Highland Road.

2.7             East on Highland Road to Coast Guard Road.

2.8             South to entrance road to Cape Cod Light.

3.1             Stop and visit the lighthouse, if you wish,
                and enjoy the spectacular view from the lookout
                on the edge of the cliff.

3.4             Reverse to Coast Guard Road.

3.7             South to South Hollow Road.

4.5             West to Shore Road (Route 6A), walking carefully
                across Route 6.

7.3             Northwest on Shore Road to short connector road
                with sign to Route 6.

7.5             Northeast on connector road to Route 6;
                northwest on Route 6 to High Head Road.

8.2             North on High Head Road to beginning of bike path

                side of Route 6.  WALK carefully across Route 6.

8.0             West on Pamet Point Road to Old County Road.

9.2             Northwest on Old County Road to Ryder Beach Road.

9.8             Southwest on Ryder Beach Road to beach.

10.4            Reverse to Old County Road.

12.0            North on Old County Road to Mill Pond Road.

12.6            Northwest on Mill Pond Road to Pamet Harbor Road.
                (No road sign.)

12.8            West to Pamet Harbor.
